The Waveshare 8" DSI LCD is an 800×480 display with 5-point capacitive touch on a toughened glass panel, driven directly from the Raspberry Pi DSI port. It is powered through pogo pins from the Pi, offers software brightness control and provides two 5 V headers for a cooling fan or other low-power accessories. The rear has a camera cut-out and SMD mounting nuts, so a Pi 5 with Active Cooler and a camera module can sit cleanly behind the screen.
