- Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth LE, Zigbee and Thread
- USB-C with a CH340K USB-to-serial chip and automatic reset
- Onboard TP4056M charger for a single-cell Li-ion battery (400 mA) with automatic switchover to battery; 3.3 V rail from a TPS7A2633 regulator
- Qwiic connector with 10 kOhm I2C pull-ups; 19 GPIO pins on two 13-pin 2.54 mm headers
- Onboard WS2812B RGB LED, user button and reset button; about 12 µA deep-sleep current
- Programmable with Arduino IDE, MicroPython (generic ESP32-C5 firmware) and ESP-IDF; pin headers supplied unsoldered unless the soldered variant is chosen
