The Waveshare 7" DSI LCD is a 7-inch 800×480 capacitive touch display that connects to the Raspberry Pi's MIPI DSI port instead of HDMI, leaving the HDMI ports free. It supports 5-point touch on Raspberry Pi OS with a toughened glass touch panel and is powered from the Pi's 40-pin GPIO header, so the whole setup needs only one cable – a clean choice for a Home Assistant dashboard or a 3D-printer screen.
