Specifications
- Bosch BHI385 smart 6-axis IMU (3-axis accelerometer plus 3-axis gyroscope) with an onboard processor running sensor-fusion firmware
- Provides virtual sensors such as 3D orientation, step counting, tap detection and wrist gestures, offloading work from the host MCU
- Accelerometer range selectable from +/-4 g to +/-32 g; gyroscope range +/-125 to +/-2000 dps
- I2C up to 400 kHz; default address 0x29, changeable to 0x28 with a solder bridge
- 3.3 V supply with an onboard 1.8 V regulator and I2C level shifter
- Board size 23 x 23 mm with two M3 mounting holes
- Low power: about 5 µA asleep, 1.4 mA with accelerometer and gyroscope running
- Soldered Arduino library available
