The Gemini 2 is a compact active stereo depth camera from Orbbec. Two global-shutter IR sensors and an IR projector produce a depth image, a 1080p colour camera adds RGB, and a built-in 6-axis IMU gives motion data. Everything runs over one USB-C cable that also powers the camera. Typical uses are robot navigation and obstacle detection, pick-and-place with a robot arm, people counting and 3D scanning. It works with the Orbbec SDK and as a UVC camera, and Seeed documents its use with ROS and ORB-SLAM3 on Jetson.
