Raspberry Pi 5 uses a smaller 22-pin, 0.5 mm pitch connector for cameras and displays than earlier models. These are the official cables that convert to the 15-pin, 1 mm pitch connector on Raspberry Pi Camera Modules and the Touch Display.

• Camera cable: 22-pin (Pi 5 end) to 15-pin (Camera Module 2, 3, HQ, AI Camera)
• Display cable: 22-pin (Pi 5 end) to 15-pin (Raspberry Pi Touch Display)
• Available in 200 mm, 300 mm and 500 mm lengths

Camera Modules and the Touch Display are usually sold with a 15-to-15-pin cable that does not fit Pi 5, so plan on one of these for any Pi 5 camera or display build.
