The original Raspberry Pi Pico, built on the RP2040. Still the cheapest way into microcontroller programming with MicroPython or C, and the board most tutorials and kits are written for.

• RP2040: dual Arm Cortex-M0+ @ 133 MHz, 264 KB SRAM
• 2 MB on-board QSPI flash
• 26 multifunction GPIO, 3 analogue inputs, 2× UART, 2× SPI, 2× I2C, 16 PWM channels, 8 PIO state machines
• Micro USB (USB 1.1 host/device), 1.8–5.5 V input, low-power sleep and dormant modes
• Pico W adds 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth 5.2 via the Infineon CYW43439
• Programmable in C/C++ and MicroPython; flash by dragging a UF2 file

Pico H ships with the 40 header pins pre-soldered and a 3-pin debug connector. Pico and Pico W ship without headers.
